Good morning a general chit chat.

The  skies were over cast today but its now midday and the sun has broken through, During the past three hours I have been mowing the grass, We have a lot of grass and I'm fairly sure that the exercise that I have taken is equal to a work out. I wish that the water in the pool was warmer, I would love to jump in but it really is still quite cold. My legs are aching and my hands are sore from pushing the lawn mower. We have a petrol mower but I still find it heavy and difficult to handle. I put the grass cutting in the compost, it breaks down fairly quickly.
Last night I decided to knit a pair of bootees for my son's friend whose wife is due to give birth. I have known this young man since he was small and I can't believe that he is going to be a dad. Like my son he is in his early thirties, time goes so quickly. I also heard from one of  my sons in the UK that he and his fiancée have found a wedding venue. He did't say where and I suspect it will either be in Ibiza or London. My son is a DJ and he gets summer work in Ibiza. I have never actually been there and from what I have seen on the TV it's a place for the young. My son and his girlfriend became engaged last year when he was DJ ing in the Dominica Republic.
Well where ever the wedding is I shall be there no doubt with a new hat.
Well I'm going to do some more mowing and think about those calories that are being burnt!
