My knitted cardigan and jumper projects.

Last year I bought a knitting machine and I spent the winter practising knitting scarves and hats and then progressed to knitting cardigans, jumpers and dog coats.

This is one of the first cardigans that I knitted on the machine. It is made with double knitting wool which was perhaps a bit too heavy for the machine making it hard work to pull the carriage across the needles. However I managed to complete the cardigan which fits really well..

My next project was this rather lovely 4 ply jumper with a pattern of paw prints. I knitted the back and sleeves on the knitting machine and then hand knit the front. I love this jumper and if it doesn't sell I plan to give it to a family member for Xmas. 

Following the animal them I went onto knit this lovely light lilac sweater with a puppy dog face positioned below the neck line. I knitted all the jumper using the knitting machine. I then designed the puppy face and embroidered it onto the jumper.

Being very please with the result I decided to design a childs jumper with the same embroidered motif.

During the winter months I plan to knit similar jumpers placing Xmas scenes on them
