Sad news that Margaret Thatcher died today. Although I did not support her views I admired her for becoming Prime Minster in a male dominated England. I recall the days of her time as Prime Minster when I stood alongside many other women at Greenham Common Peace Camp to protest against nuclear weapons.  I also have strong memories of the miners strike when I not only attended protests but also provided a coal miner with a home in London. Oh well, may she rest in peace I don't think the UK will ever have a Prime Minister quite like her again.
