How to remove plaque from teeth and soothe gums using items from kitchen and garden
Plaque is a bacteria that forms on teeth resulting in a hard yellowish substance which is hard to remove. Plaque can cause gum disease, which can be embarrassing, causing bad breath and if untreated resulting in loss of teeth. Whilst daily brushing and flossing helps to remove plaque it is rather stubborn and often requires the skills and tools of the all too expensive dentist.
However do not despair the following very simple recipe using ingredients found in your kitchen cupboard and garden can definitely help soothe diseased gums, whilst also removing plaque.

All you need is
400 grams of sea salt ( I buy good quality sea salt from http://bit.ly/12T85qh
150 grams of preferably fresh sage leaves

Method
Grind or pound the salt and sage leaves together
Dry the mixture in an oven, set at the lowest temperature
Check regularly to ensure that the salt and sage don’t burn
After approximately 20-30minutes the mixture should be dry
Use a grinder or pestle and mortar to grind the mixture into a powder
Place the powder in an airtight sterilized jar
Use the powder twice a day.
When you can no longer smell the fragrance of the sage it is time to make yourself another batch.

Whilst this powder is very good teeth still need to be checked by the dentist to ensure that teeth and gums are healthy.

Happy brushing.
