managed to get some time

Hi again I have managed to get some time  on Colin's comp so I thought I'd catch up with my blog. Yesterday we had rain and thunder. We have not had much rain this year so it will do the garden good. I decided this morning to weed my veg plot. Its much easier when the ground is wet. I have managed to dig over quite a lot and then decided to plant some seeds. I purchased seed from http://greener-earth.webs.com/
They are reasonable priced and of good quality. I have planted Spinach, beans, carrots, toms and so on. Hopefully we shall get a good crop this year. Everything in the garden is coming up early and we already have figs and cherries forming. The pear tree is in blossom and looks beautiful. When I'm back on my laptop I will take come pictures to post.
Although the weather today is warm the wind is quite cold.
Maybe this afternoon I will get on my knitting machine and create a jumper. Tonight we are cooking fish and chips. I so miss English fish and chips.
