Last night I was talking to my daughter on skype and she suggested that it would be a good idea to blog about my experiences working as a social worker and Guardian. I worked in the child care field from the late 1960's through to 2005 when I left London and moved to Spain to manage a restaurant. Reflecting on my experiences I definitely have many stories to tell, some horrendous and some extremely sad. So maybe this will be my new project as well as blogging about my current life and interests. So my friends watch this space.
By the way isn't skype wonderful. We don't have a main line telephone and ringing the UK from the mobile is very expensive so thank you skype.
My soap is setting nicely and the whole room has a tea tree smell very refreshing.
Well that is it for now as I am not feeling too well and fear that I am coming down with a cold. Taking lots of fresh lemon juice, honey and asprin. I really hate been ill and try to fight it as best that I can. Maybe an early night will do the trick.
